Premature ejaculation remedies might be a little different than a few centuries ago, but in reality, the basics haven't changed all that much. Whether we are talking about remedies from the middle ages, or remedies from the 1960s, they tended to border on ridiculous and painful, and when they failed to produce results in the bedroom, they were the source of ridicule. Certain 'remedies' that have survived in medical journals dating back to before the time of King Henry VIII could be looked at as nothing more than another form of torture, and in the eyes of the poor guys who tried these things, the failure coupled with the humiliation could certainly be described as abject torture. Although these ancient trials and tribulations were deemed quite painful yet effective (perhaps the use of leeches would prevent the poor chap from having sex at all, so no one cared when he might have an orgasm or not), many of the modern remedies leave a lot to be desired. One particular remedy of only a few decades ago insisted that a metal ring attached at the base of the penis would solve the problem. Premature ejaculation remedies have always been a misnomer until now. Even the word implies that results will be found and will be evident. Unfortunately, that was and is rarely the case.
